On One Foot

…brief updates about me and those I love

*Still feeling a bit like I just woke up from a bad dream. Like the last 14 months were some kind of poorly written horror show. But now I have found the remote and happily change the channel.

*Meanwhile Spring is blooming everywhere around me. Birds twitter in the trees, hum and hop in my garden.

*And I’m buzzing again too!

Returning to yoga via ACB’s weekly Zoom sessions.

Walking daily with J.

Even dabbling on the piano as I try to reclaim a few tunes.

*And while the sunflower seeds we planted mid-April seem to have been duds or perhaps succumbed to late frost, our most recent plantings are sprouting!

So how are you, my Darlings?

And how are you blooming?

Wishing you sweetness and Love!

  1. I really miss playing piano! But I am enjoying my double strung harp, for which I waited, saved, and prepared for quite a while! Such a beautiful, magical instrument was definitely worth the wait!

    1. Well, I admire all you who can play instruments. I used to play the flute many many moons ago, but after having my jaw cracked that stopped.

I was lazy and did not keep up my piano lessons so that went away too. LOL.

    2. Yes, and you play so beautifully, dear Crystal!
My piano has waited so patiently while I frolicked with my guitar. It’s time to rekindle our friendship.
Thanks so much for your company, blessings and Love to you!

    1. Hi Carol. When I was a kid, I wanted so much to be able to do cartwheels like my sisters, but I never could get the hang of them. I don’t know if it was because I couldn’t see how they were managed or if it was my lack of coordination or both.

      LOL.

      Thanks for reading and commenting.

      1. Hi Patty… maybe.. it was the hula hoop I could never do very well.. Cartwheels no problem… Lily was doing tvem a couple of weeks ago and said nannie can you do it? I briefly thought about it… sigh.. and sat that one out…

    2. The imagination has no limits…*wink* Thanks so much for your company, Carol! *willows in mist**yellow butterflies*
